MILLION PACKAGING
help reduce the greenhouse effect
Greenhouse gas saving
At Million company we are committed to preserving the quality of life we all enjoy here on the planet. Excessive reliance on fossil fuels over the past 100 years has created worldwide concerns about changes in climate, long-lived pollution, and the fact that fossil fuel, in general, is a finite resource.
We produce annual renewable starch source products (Bioplastic) instead of petroleum to address many legitimate concerns.
The use of renewable starch-based resins annually has a strong and immediate impact on carbon emissions (CO2) ultimately contributing to reducing the "greenhouse gas" problem.
BioPlastic Bag Environmental Impact on Greenhouse Gas Emissions
To quantify the dramatic effect that replacing of the traditional polyethylene to make bags with BioPlastic can have on carbon emissions, take the following example: The analysis indicates that bioplastics contribute clearly to the goal of mitigating GHG emissions with only 0.49 kg CO2-e being emitted from production of 1 kg of resin. Compared with 2−3 kg CO2-e of petrochemical counterparts, it is about 80% reduction of the global warming potential.
